Introduction
Now, more than ever, you must position yourself to be led by the Spirit of God. These are the last days, and prophecies are coming to pass rapidly. Each day brings us closer to the return of the Lord. Hearing from God will affect your destiny, and could even save your life. Sons of God are led by Him.
- Jesus said His sheep hear His voice (John 10:22-27).
- You must believe that you are His sheep, and you will hear Him.
- Hearing from God will require faith.
- Everything in the Kingdom of God operates on the faith system.
- Believe that He will speak to you.
- . Real success comes from hearing from God.
- Develop your personal relationship with Him by spending time with Him:
- Fellowship with Him in prayer.
- Minister to Him in praise and thanksgiving.
- Spend time meditating on His Word.
- Hearing from God will require faith.
- You must believe that you are His sheep, and you will hear Him.
- God speaks to mankind.
- He spoke to Abraham, giving him a promise.
- Abraham grew strong and was empowered in faith; no unbelief made him waver or doubt (Romans 4:20, AMP).
- God’s Word fuels your faith.
- Praise and thanksgiving fuels your hearing from Him.
- God spoke to Noah in specific details about how to build the ark.
- When you have heard a Word from God, you will not have to hear from people.
- Even when you do not see manifestation quickly, keep believing.
- Like Noah and Abraham, get your heart fixed and established, trust God completely.
- Stay in expectation. Keep His written Word before your eyes.
- He spoke to Abraham, giving him a promise.
- Sons and daughters of God are led by His Spirit (Romans 8:14-16).
- God is going to guide you through your human spirit, which is your conscience.
- God’s Spirit, the Holy Spirit, dwells in us.
- Any time peace is not present, that is a signal from the Holy Spirit to not move forward.
- You can trust the voice of your spirit when you have been feeding yourself with God’s Word.
- Sons and daughters of God are men and women who, by the power of God, bring deliverance and liberty to mankind.
- They hear God’s voice and disarm the forces of wickedness.
- They understand that through their divine nature, they can operate like God on Earth. iii. They exercise total dominion over all issues of life; all things are possible with them.
- They walk on Earth as Jesus did, speaking to storms and commanding them to cease.
- The son of God became the son of man so that sons of men can become the sons of God.
- God is going to guide you through your human spirit, which is your conscience.
- Characteristics of sons and daughters of God:
- They are led by the Spirit of God.
- They have manifestations of the Word in their lives.
- They operate like Jesus.
- They overcome temptation.
- They are God-conscious not self-conscious.
- They seek revelation and understanding.
- They do not get offended.
- They are not envious, jealous, unforgiving, or in strife.
- They walk in the God-kind of love, especially toward those who have wronged them.
- They have signs and wonders to follow them (Ex: answered prayers and results)
- They have put away childish things.
- They cultivate understanding.
- They love change, and are always progressing to a higher level.
- Hindrances to hearing God’s voice.
- . Unbelief
- If you are in unbelief, you stagger and doubt.
- To walk in unbelief means you do not trust God; you do not rely on Him.
- God views unbelief as wicked and evil; it does not line up with His Word.
- Dismiss every thought that causes you to doubt.
- An undeveloped, immature spirit
- Begin to feed on the meat of God’s Word.
- The meat of God’s Word is a deeper level of understanding.
- Practice obedience even to the point of being willing to miss it.
- Thank and praise God as you wait for His manifestations in your life.
- Speak to things and know that they will obey you.
- A spirit of deafness
- A calloused conscience
- Neglecting time with God
- . Unbelief
