Seeing in the Light of Eternity

1. The balance of wrath / judgement and Grace:
–
Force plus 1: God’s grace was even evident in his wrath and judgment during the Old Testament. We can see this because he only acted to the point necessary to destroy sin. We know this because he could have just destroyed everything and start over. He even said as much to Moses, when Moses asked him to repent (Exodus 32:7-10). To see the extreme nature of his wrath and judgment is to see the extreme nature of the sin that we are born into. Also relevant to this, is the glory that God will exhibit in relation to the suffering and the pains of this life. He will always glorify himself greater than the acts of destruction and death that Satan inflicts in our lives, when we act in faith. (Romans 5:20-21)

Grace ends when life ends. (Hebrews 9:27)

Mercy is for this life, not eternity.
–
His grace is mercy. (Ephesians 2:4-5)

God does not send us to hell, we choose to go there by a complete life of refusal of Jesus’ lordship and the gift he is offering by grace (Deuteronomy 30:19-20). The fact that all has been provided, irrefutable proof, that God and his son Jesus Christ’s death, resurrection and ascension to heaven, and creation itself is proof of God and of God’s love (Romans 1:18-20, Psalm 19:1). Scripture that has remained perfect for thousands of years, that has been proven true endless amount of times, all of these things have given us a choice to identify with the world and with sin and maintain the identity, the label, the seal upon their dead spirit of sin, have put themselves into hell when their heart stops and when grace ends. God made a way through Jesus Christ to have your spirit resurrected into the newness of life and to have a new seal by the Holy Spirit that identifies you as a child and property of God. When Jesus comes and we stand before Christ, we will have only one of two seals on our spirit. The seal, the badge of sin and death the seal and the badge of Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:13-14). God will only recognize His seal. All else will be cast into hell. Jesus will say “away from me because I never knew you”. You don’t have my seal you don’t have my identity we choose that, not God.
2. The difference between agreeing and believing:
– Belief is submission (James 4:7).

Belief is evident in our walk and our fruit.
–
Total commitment unto death.
–
All misinterpretation of scripture, false doctrine, false teachings like extreme sovereignty of God, all come from a place of avoiding the responsibility of taking the authority Christ gave us and acting in it as commanded. It comes from a place of pride and unbelief. (Matthew 7:21-23)
3. The completed work:
–
Every work and promise of God is a completed work. (John 17:1-4, John 19:30)

Take any prophecy or promise from the Old Testament and replace “I will” with the words “I have/am”.

Many do not understand or believe that God’s work is finished! They pray, beg and live their lives in a belief that they must do something to get God to move, or that God must move as they wait on God, not acting in faith. God has already moved! He is waiting on us to react to his completed works in faith! All has been provided! We are meant to walk, move, act, and live within the construct of Christ’s completed work. It is finished! It isn’t about what we can do, it is about what he has already done!

This defines salvation.

Science has proven that at the moment of conception a spark of light flashes. They can’t explain it. This is the spiritual manifesting in the physical. This is proof of God’s creation in all living things. All that God creates will procreate and perpetuate. This is his completed works in action. He places himself in all of creation and draws himself to himself, He magnifies love, and This is why he loves each of us so much, because he has placed a part of him in us at creation. Each beat of our hearts is evidence of his work in us. No matter how much control you think you have over your life, you cannot control the beat of your heart. It is evidence of his perpetuating work. And one day it will cease.
4. Spiritual maturity:

Are you satisfied with Jesus? (John 20:29)

Total dependency is humility. (Matthew 5:3)

Dependency is freedom to be used by God.
–
You do not approach any circumstance in the world or heaven from the perspective where you worry or strive to attain anything for yourself. You realize that all is provided. It is finished!

Every decision, choice, and direction that we make in this life as a totally submitted servant of Christ and our father in heaven, should be weighed against two scales. The scale of truth (does it align with scripture), and glory (does it glorify God only). Truth: where we weigh against his teachings, precepts, and will. His word is his will. Glory: only for the service of glorifying God. We enter relationship with him by thanking him and allowing him to glorify himself through us. Thanksgiving is glorifying him. He alone is able to create the glory that he deserves. We are unable to glorify him properly with our own strength. Spiritual maturity is being totally at rest and dependent on God.
5. God is spirit: (John 4:24)
–
We were created in his image.
–
We must approach all things scriptural from the spiritual perspective, not the physical.

Identity is attacked by Satan so heavily and blatantly because time is short. If we identify as a joint heir of Christ, we will approach everything from his perspective. Those who approach their life and scripture, from their own perspective, and identity as self, do not receive from God and are only searching for what will effect/ benefit them. This is pride and God resists the proud.
6. Motivated by glory:
– God is jealous for his glory. (Exodus 34:14, Psalm 29:3, 1 Corinthians 2:8)

All movements and acts of God are for his glory, and all of this is motivated by love.

He draws himself to himself. His spirit draws the spirit. All of this magnifies, and he is glorified, and we are blessed.
